I was really amazed how well the Bottom Feeder worked!
I had to get use to the idea of driving over leaves and seeing them go into the cleaner and vacuumed up. My old cleaner would not do this at all. I would usually see the leaves go over the top of my vac head and just miss them. I would net the leaves out of the entire pool after I vacuumed it to get it clean.
I came to one of my pools and it was covered with dirt from the wind blowing. The bottom feeders brush was breaking up the dirt and I could see a cloud of dirt being sucked up by the vacuum. It worked really good with the brushes churning up the dirt.
You just keep it down and moving so the wheels drive the brushes in both directions and it works! I saved about 5 to 10 minutes on an average pool using the bottom feeder. I don't have to net the bottom of a lot of my pools while using the bottom feeder. That's a big back saver.
I have been a professional poolman for five years and this is the best vac head I have ever used.
